Job Description
We are looking for a RP JKT Lifting Supervisor for one of our clients with the following details:
Start date: 01-MAR-2025
End Date: 31-MAR-2026
Location: Doha / Oman
Work status: Resident, Single
ACTIVITIES
- To promote & comply with applicable safety instructions and other COMPANY HSE procedures in all activities.
- To carry out work in compliance with COMPANY values and policies, relevant laws and regulations, agreed COMPANY priorities and objectives, COMPANY standards and procedures and good industry practices,
- To provide expertise in daily handling and lifting activities including categorization of lifts
- To ensure onsite the implementation of risk assessment, hazard identification and JSA.
- Participate in CTR toolbox talks onsite
- Review tagging/color code of all CTR lifting equipment (sling, shackles, etc.)
- To confirm CTR’s selection of lifting equipment as per activities.
- To attend Tool Box Talks and post-job debriefing meetings including assessment of completed jobs
- To review lifting plans (non-critical and critical lifting)
- To Promote safe handling and lifting operation referring COMPANY HSE policy and international standard, review engineering calculation for complex and complicated lifts
- To review complicated and complex lift plan and make sure all preparatory works completed successfully prior to the lifting operation.
- To provide technical advice to CPY teams.
- To be involved in audits of the lifting operations.
- Ensure the correct implementation of the Permit to Work system.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering and construction
- Following OPITO certifications mandatory:
- LCP (LOLER Competent Person) / Lifting Supervisor
- Banksman Slinger OPITO Level 3 or 4
- Rigger OPITO Level 3 or 4
- Minimum 10 years in the lifting & handling industry at supervisory level.
- Available for technical missions worldwide
- Familiar with TotalEnergies General Specifications, relevant codes (AISC, API, ASME, ASW, ISO)
- Ability to work in a team oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
- Language: Fluent in English,
- Computer literate,
- Strong leadership skills and good communication skills,
- Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment,
- Good analytical skills
