RM Planning Engineer

As part of the planning team of OCI, to assist, follow-up and provide optimized production plan and plan for proper utilization of rawmaterials.

Key Deliverables:

• Coordinate raw material requirement with respective departments for maximum production workflow for multiple finishedgoods
• Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials required tocover productiondemand
• Prepare and revise MCP (Manufacturing Completion Program) and coordinate with respective departments to intimate the finalizedMCP
• Coordinate with S&M for understanding the raw materialrequirement from the salesorders.
• You will be responsible for preparation of quarterly stock report which is usedto physically verify the stockposition.
• Address issues when they arise aiming for minimumdisruption
• Prepare and submit status and performancereports
• Collaborate with quality control, maintenance, warehouse andother staff.
• You will be Responsible to assist the Manager in planning the productionbudget of the Company from the annual budget and eventually to calculate the raw material budget and requirement for the Company. Coordinate with all departments for thesame.
• Responsible to check the daily enquiries from the S&M department and suggest indicative timelines for sourcing, production anddelivery.
• Coordinate with purchase department to maintain safe rawmaterial inventory levels and to initiate purchase procedures if levels are not met.

Qualifications:

Graduate / Diploma in anystream.

Skills/Knowledge:

• Excellent communication skills inEnglish.
• Relationship managementskills.
• Ability to take timely actions anddecisions.
• Proven experience as productionplanner
• Excellent knowledge of production planning andquality controlprinciples
• Experience in Manufacturing resourceplanning.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and ERPsystems.
• Good at math andstatistics.
• Strong organizational and problem-solvingskills.

Experience:

• 6+ years of experience in related industries. (Preferablycable manufacturing).

Business Understanding:

• Good understanding of the cable manufacturing operationsis essential.
