Job Description

  • Job Specification & Key Accountabilities (Duties include but not limited to) Refer to general accountability below:All infrastructures will be delivered by the port of the country.
  • This includes the jetty substructure (trestle, dolphins, loading platform, berthing and mooring equipment, dredging), other infrastructure such as shore protection, and land with its roads, channels, etc.
  • He shall follow up on the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction activities, in conformity with the applicable technical referential, best work practices, and within the agreed budget, schedule, and Project Statement of Requirements.
  • All facilities upstream of the LNG Plant battery limit required for the supply of the feed gas.
  • This includes the receiving facilities, the feed gas pipeline, the new GSS, and its connection to the existing GSS in the country.
  • Depending on the split of responsibility between the operators, which is to be clarified and agreed upon, the corresponding activities will be managed by the operator or directly by the Project Team.
  • The job holder will oversee the management of the Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, and Start-up activities, in conformity with the applicable technical referential, HSE rules, Company Rules & Procedures, Guidelines and Procedures, best work practices, and within the agreed budget, schedule, and Statement of Requirements.
  • He shall ensure that it is fit for purpose, operable, maintainable, and reliable within the agreed budget and schedule for completion. In this respect, he will maintain close contact and cooperate proactively with the LNG Plant Package Team and the Project Field Operations Team.
  • Negotiations and clarifications with the operator, which the job holder shall conduct in cooperation with the Engineering Team, Field Operations Team, and Negotiation Team (AN), must align with the applicable legal framework. These negotiations will cover multiple key aspects of the project, such as the feed gas composition ranges, gas transportation guarantees, split of responsibilities, delivery schedule, fiscal metering conditions, and reservation for future development.


Skills

  • Qualifications:Professional Experience: +15 (incl. experience in Middle East as a preference)
  • Experience in similar position (years): +10 (or in management major international construction contracts)
  • Education Level / Diploma: Engineer
  • Languages: English and French (mandatory)
