Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain robust financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes.
Prepare and analyze financial reports, providing insights and recommendations to senior management for informed decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and propose corrective actions where necessary.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including cash flow projections and profitability analysis.
Monitor and analyze key financial metrics and KPIs to assess business performance and support strategic initiatives.
Support the preparation and presentation of financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to senior stakeholders.
Participate in financial audits and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to provide proactive financial insights and recommendations.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather and analyze financial data for various projects and initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA) is highly preferred.
Proven experience of 5-8 years in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, cash forecasting, and financial modelling.
Strong proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
Experience working within a large consulting firm is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Quick learner with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
Solid understanding of financial accounting principles and practices.
Knowledge of relevant financial software and ERP systems is an advantage.
