Job Purpose:

To lead the Project’s detailed engineering, design, assembly and testing of various Control Systems as per the Project specification requirements & support in Preparation of Service project proposal in Oman region.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

Lead the Project Engineering Team (hardware & software scope) in brownfield modification projects. Review based on Customer’s Project technical requirements, RFQ, Specifications and Standards. Perform site survey if required based on Customer’s Project requirements / RFQ. Finalize on hardware & 3rd party components requirements as per existing installed base. Finalize on software & License requirements as per existing installed base. Finalize on engineering design, modifications & logic requirements as per existing installed base & RFQ. Preparation of BOM & Technical Proposal based on Hardware / Software/ engineering design finalization. Upon PO, verify and acknowledge the PO is in line with the submitted BOM & Technical Proposal and alert if there is any deviation. After PO verification, conduct KOM meeting with customer. After KOM, support & assist team for detailed project engineering & system engineering activities. Assist team for project Documentation preparation, review and submission for Approval. Coordination with Customer Engineers for technical issues. Preparation and review of Vendor Purchase Order for various Projects Materials. Arranging Internal Meeting/ Project Walk through for achieving Project milestones. Project Progress Monitoring and control. Adhering to the Project Schedule & Project Quality Plan. Preparation of scope of work deviations and tracking. Coordinate & support to QC Engineer for Inspection and Testing related activities. Prepare and conduct FAT, SAT, commissioning & start-up activities Reporting to the Dept Manager on day-to-day activities.

Qualification and Experience:

Minimum 10 to 12 Years’ experience in Projects detailed engineering, design, assembly and testing team of Yokogawa DCS & Prosafe as per the Project specification requirements. Graduate in Engineering – Process Control Systems / Instrumentation / Electrical & Electronics. Knowledge and application of sales process Experience of handling large brownfield and after-sales service projects. Field project execution and site experience is mandatory

Competencies:

Preparation of Proposal costings for Service projects or brown field related jobs will be added advantage Identify the SOW and risk during proposal stages. Strong sales drive and ability to negotiate at all levels of customer organizations. Target oriented, committed to long-span work Computer skills: Microsoft Office, MS Visio, MS Project, Outlook, CRM, etc. Ability to work under pressure. Knowledge and understanding of organizational policy and procedures. Pro-active and Self Motivated. Team Player. Project Design Engineering analysis and techniques. Strong Leadership quality.

Skills:

High and complete Knowledge of entire Hardware & software of all Yokogawa DCS -CS3000/CVP, & ESD-Prosafe RS systems. Good Knowledge of all related third-party components used in Yokogawa system. Very good communication and presentation skills. Developing and maintaining good relationships with clients. Knowledge of IT basics and Microsoft Applications including MS Project. Good Problem solving, strong Negotiation and reporting skills. Work experience in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
