Job Description

We are exclusively partnering with a large Global group business who are seeking a highly skilled HR Director to lead their Oman and UAE cluster. This pivotal role involves developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the overall objectives of the organization partnering closely with the wider group and Head Office. The HR Director will be responsible for managing various strategic and operational projects including transformation, employee engagement, performance management, and ensuring compliance with local employment laws and organizational policies.


The successful candidate will work closely with the executive leadership team, driving an effective HR agenda that fosters a productive and positive workplace culture. This position requires a forward-thinking leader with a deep understanding of HR practices in Oman/GCC and excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships across the organization.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Set and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals partnering closely the the CHRO and Group HR Director and local General Manager.
  • Design and oversee employee engagement initiatives, transformation projects, OD initiatives and act as a true business partner.
  • Implement performance management frameworks that promote accountability.
  • Manage compensation and benefits programs and leading on salary benchmarking projects.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies and employee relations.
  • Ensure compliance with local Oman labor laws and regulations.
  • Utilize HR analytics to inform decision-making and improve HR practices.
