Job Description

  • Decorate pastries using different icings, toppings etc. to ensure the presentation will be beautiful and exciting.
  • Collaborate with other pastry chefs to improve the preparation of dishes, and assist them in their daily responsibilities.
  • Identify the ingredient requirements by analyzing the inventory, and place orders and communicate information to the respective authorities.
  • Baking quality treats to fill the gaps in the existing menu for attracting more customers to boost business and revenue.

Skills

  • In depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation and baking techniques and nutrition.
  • Experience in developing pastries, cakes and related items in a professional setting.
  • A skilled pastry chef capable of utilizing the appropriate ingredients according to the preparation.
  • The ability to prepare and present top-class bakery items with utmost professionalism.
