To plan, execute, and finalise E-Commerce & Business Intelligence projects according to strict deadlines and within budget, consulting with clients on business needs, translating business needs into analytics/reporting requirements, and interfacing with company and client to ensure successful delivery of user department’s website and E-Commerce requirements by defining the project’s objectives and overseeing quality control throughout the project life cycle.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for the administration and management of the company’s Internet and Intranet websites, including the E-Commerce aspects and related functionality, such as Payment Gateways, Dynamic Currency Conversion, Google Adwords and Google Analytics reporting
Management, support & maintenance of the business applications environment,
Identify, Analyse & Evaluate business requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
Perform analysis & documentation of business processes & requirements to oversee the successful completion of the project
Responsible for the quality, structure, movement, cleansing and management of data and information within the organisation.
Ensure appropriate structuring and enrichment of data in the transaction and decision support environments, and the presentation of quality data for use by data consumers are in accordance with the IT policies and procedures set by the company
Liaise with the user department to identify the business needs and opportunities for improved data management and delivery of E-Commerce & Business Intelligence solutions
Overseeing the ongoing development and operations of a business intelligence architecture that enables fact-based decision making and adhoc analysis and insight generation.
Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Analyze the market for new suppliers and systems to recommend and assist the Head – Information Technology in bringing up the new system in the company to enhance the operational efficiency.
Ensure maximization of successful and efficient reservation and global distribution operations within the guidelines and procedures set by the company and in line with IATA rules and regulations.
Requirements
Graduate Degree with specialization in IT or any graduate degree with Higher Diploma in IT.
8 years of related work experience with minimum 3 years’ experience in airline E- Commerce domain systems.
Knowledge of .NET languages including C#, Visual Basic.NET, C++/CLI, J#, and JScript.NET.
Proficient with front-end development languages including JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
Excellent Communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Must have good working knowledge of airline business operations.
Knowledge of relevant Airline systems.
Ability to coordinate with vendors and service providers on airport systems.
