As a Commis Chef, you will play a vital role in the kitchen team, supporting senior chefs in delivering high-quality dishes that exceed guest expectations. You will assist in food preparation, maintain hygiene standards, and ensure efficient operations in the kitchen.
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Ensure ingredients are prepared, measured, and organized for efficient cooking.
- Contribute to creating visually appealing and flavorful dishes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation at all times.
- Follow instructions from senior chefs to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Participate in mise en place preparation and other duties as assigned.
- Ensure the quality, taste, and presentation of dishes meet 5-star standards.
- Handle food storage and preservation to maintain freshness and safety.
- Follow portion control guidelines to minimize waste and ensure consistency.
