Job Summary:We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner in Muscat,Oman. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the premises, ensuring that all areas are tidy, sanitary, and welcoming. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently. Previous cleaning experience is a plus but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:- General Cleaning: Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces in all areas of the premises, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
- Restroom Maintenance: Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and replenishing toiletries such as toilet paper and soap.
- Trash Disposal: Empty trash bins and replace liners; dispose of waste in a safe and sanitary manner.
- Surface Cleaning: Clean and sanitize high-touch surfaces such as door handles, light switches, and elevator buttons.
- Window and Glass Cleaning: Clean windows, glass doors, and mirrors to ensure they are streak-free.
- Floor Care: Sweep, mop, and buff floors, and maintain the cleanliness of carpets by vacuuming or shampooing as needed.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain cleaning supplies and notify management when items need to be replenished.
- Spot Cleaning: Address immediate cleaning needs, such as spills, stains, or messes.
- Deep Cleaning: Occasionally assist with deep cleaning projects such as cleaning vents, carpets, or high-up surfaces.
- Report Issues: Identify and report any maintenance or safety concerns (e.g., broken equipment, leaks, or malfunctioning lighting) to the appropriate supervisor or manager.
Required Qualifications:- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial work (preferred but not required).
- Knowledge of cleaning products, chemicals, and equipment.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and handle cleaning materials appropriately.
- Good physical stamina, as the role requires standing, bending, and lifting up to [insert weight limit].
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Attention to detail and a thorough approach to cleaning tasks.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Basic communication skills to interact with other staff members and report issues.
Preferred Qualifications:- Previous cleaning experience in a commercial or residential setting.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment like floor scrubbers, carpet cleaners, etc.
- Ability to work flexible hours (e.g., weekends or evenings as needed).
