The project:


A major urban development project comprising of new homes, commercial properties, public spaces and smart urban mobility.  Mace have the opportunity to develop and lead and implement the PMO structure to deliver this city development.

You’ll need to have:


  • A relevant degree qualification.
  • Significant experience of effective PMO and project controls leadership on significant construction projects and management consultancy.
  • Significant experience of setting up effective PMO and project controls management/assurance frameworks/strategies.
  • Expert knowledge of PMO and project controls tools, techniques and software (e.g., MS office and PowerBI, Aconex, Primavera P6 and RiskHive).
  • Ability to manage activities with significant uncertainty of solution or outcome.
  • Practical knowledge of PowerBI and other reporting suite tools.

You’ll also have:


  • Membership of RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
  • Ability to mentor.
  • Proven experience in major developments.
  • Strong understanding of construction projects, decencies and interfaces within the project lifecycle and management consultancy.
  • Deep domain knowledge of providing PMO and project controls leadership in multiple sectors.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.  
  • Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams.  
  • Experience of managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.  
  • Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
