1. JOB SUMMARY
The key responsibility of this role is to do research on existing offerings in the market and develop a comprehensive and strategic plan towards marketing the assets. In effect the role shall ensure development of competitive landscape reviews month on month. Additionally, the role is responsible for formulating and implementing marketing strategies – including campaigns, events, digital marketing and PR. As part of the core-management team, the role should participate in evolving the overall Lulu Group corporate policies and goals along with enhancing OAM and Nujum Malls branding and positioning on the long run.

2. PRIMARY Responsibilities
- Marketing Management
- Continually evaluating the competition and market conditions in order to ensure that OAM and Nujum Malls are effectively positioned well in relation to the competition, market demographics, and merchandise mix (product offering).
- Continually seeking new and innovative / creative ideas to ensure top of mind awareness for OAM and Nujum Malls and its attributes.
- Develop Retailer support programs by ensuring relevant and appropriate programs and marketing campaigns are implemented to enable them to increase their sales and ensure their business is a success.
- Conduct monthly review meeting with various agencies (PR, Social media, creatives, Website, etc.
- Assess the effectiveness of the OAM and Nujum Malls website and implement content improvements with new features to meet electronic / online web presence of OAM and Nujum Malls objectives.
- Plan in media buying for all the malls , monitor buying strategies , negotiate for the best rates for most appropriate media spaces . Incorporate online activities with offline marketing promotions.
- Assume day to day responsibility for all consumer Public Relations (PR), liaisons with PR agency, Head office PR and OAM and Nujum Malls Corporate Communications with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Work effectively with internal departments (like leasing, specialty leasing, sub-brands and guest services) to ensure optimum business effectiveness so that all departments are on the same page regarding information is communicated around the business units for new store openings, launches, events, changes to procedures, staff newsletters.
- Prepare annual marketing calendar and budgets for various malls and ensure that the marketing objectives are achieved and measured with results reported to all relevant stakeholders.
- Develop and implement ATL and BTL marketing campaigns and brand strategies to achieve sales targets, from creative brief through to analysis and recommendations.
- Budget management of campaigns in line with overall marketing budget.
- Analyze Return of Investment (ROI) after each promotion and feedback to Top Management.
- Support the Top Management with annual marketing research plans and their requirements.
- Work closely with corporates for cross promotions campaigns and sponsorship events.
- Digital marketing
2.2.1 Ensure that the communication of the assets are optimized to the investments made
2.2.2 Research and develop strategies for digital and other communication platforms,
2.2.3 Coordinate with tenants on integrating mall digital marketing strategies with that of the tenants.
2.3. Events and activations
2.3.1 Coordinate all activations at the mall including conceptualization of the activation ideas.
2.3.2 Coordinate on ground events and activations.
2.3.3 Ensure tenant participation for the events.
- Retailer Communications
- Coordinate retailer newsletters and look for methods to improve retailer communication via alternative mediums.
- Develop and communicate relevant retail trends to Top Management. These trends should include but not limited to sales and footfall forecasting, reporting and general issues.
- Develop individual marketing campaigns for retailers as required.
- Guest Communications
- Provide communication solutions for all events and guest service promotions which includes managing the internal guest literature package, which includes up-dating mall guides, directory boards and general guest services literature.
- Promotion of Gift Card program and any loyalty card programs that are implemented at OAM and Nujum Malls.
- Business to Business Relationships Management
- Work closely with all appointed media agencies to develop yearly media plan and ensure timely and top-class implementation for all marketing communications.
- Develop and manage relationships with retailers, head office, suppliers, retained agencies – ensuring cost efficiencies and brand guardianship is achieved at all times.

Skills
EducationCriteria:
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
MBA
Any additional qualification in property management
Knowledge of Quality Management System (ISO 9001)
