Role Description

This is an on-site internship role as an Accounting Intern at FunZone Oman in Muscat. As an Accounting Intern, your day-to-day tasks will include

• Assist in recording financial transactions and maintaining general ledgers
• Support accounts payable and receivable functions
• Help with reconciliations of bank statements and financial reports
• Assist in preparing financial documents, invoices, and reports
• Work with the accounting team on audits and compliance checks
• Perform other administrative and financial tasks as require
• Use accounting software to analyze data, and managing journal entries.

Qualifications & Skills:

ü Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

ü Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting

ü Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)

ü Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

ü Attention to detail and ability to work in a team-oriented environment

ü Relevant coursework in accounting or finance is a plus
