Job Description

We are representing a pioneering crypto company seeking an experienced Country Manager to lead and expand operations in Nigeria. This is a critical leadership role that combines strategic vision, operational excellence, and a deep understanding of the Nigerian market to drive business growth and market penetration.


Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive country strategy to establish and grow the company's presence in Nigeria.
  • Build and manage high-performing teams, ensuring alignment with global objectives while addressing local market needs.
  • Drive business development initiatives, forming strategic partnerships and identifying opportunities to expand the company’s reach.
  • Oversee operational, financial, and compliance activities to ensure efficiency and adherence to local regulations.
  • Represent the company at industry events, acting as the brand ambassador and fostering relationships with stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge.


Skills

Desired skills and experience:

  • Proven experience as a Country Manager or similar leadership role, ideally within the fintech, crypto, or tech sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of the Nigerian market, including regulatory environments, consumer behavior, and industry trends.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and manage diverse teams.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of driving business growth and delivering results in competitive markets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Understanding of cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, and financial services is highly advantageous.
  • Experience navigating and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
