The department of BioResources provides health surveillance, preventative disease programs and daily husbandry and care for all laboratory animals at AbbVie Bioresearch Center. The department has primary responsibility for assuring that the Animal Care Program meets the standards for continued accreditation by the Association for the Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care (AAALAC) and meets the regulations required for compliance with the AnimalWelfare Act (AWA).
The Technician III is responsible for the husbandry care for the animals. He/She also has direct contact with animals providing husbandry and cage changing. The person cleans cages using cage wash machinery and prepares feed and bedding for the technicians. The person will perform some technical procedures.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position.
