Group Summary:



The Mechatronics, Mirrors and Lighting group specializes in automotive technologies that are driving the future of mobility. Combining a deep systems knowledge to develop unique vehicle access experiences, intelligent visions systems and advanced automotive lighting technologies, MML's expertise light the path to innovation, safety and styling. Job Responsibilities:
Lead development activities for underperforming suppliers through the Top Focus process Conduct onsite assessment of potential suppliers Participate in supplier tech reviews Monitor supplier performance and identify underperforming suppliers Support in corrective action review for major customer events Participate and monitor the supplier APQP process

Professional experience and education:



Degree in a technical discipline preferred Ability to develop suppliers to meet global OEM regulations and requirements Experienced in supplier evaluation and development, continuous quality improvement, and open issues management Solid understanding of APQP/PPAP requirements including Process Control Plan, SPC, GD&T, DFMEA, PFMEA Certified Auditor to VDA 6.3

Skills and competencies:



5 years’ experience in manufacturing environment, quality preferred Hands on mentality with a proactive approach to identify and avoid problems in an early stage Experience in root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies Strong technical, engineering and communication skills in a global automotive environment Solid organizational and project management skills and demonstrated effectiveness to lead and collaborate with cross functional/global teams
