To develop, implement and oversee the execution of long, medium and short term maintenance action plans, packages development, and control of aircrafts technical library and records both on systems and manually.
Ensures provision of cost-effective, accurate forecasting, and successful timely delivery of events of all maintenance action plans as per Air Arabia and DGAC regulations and adopted procedures as well as CAMO requirements necessary for aircrafts airworthiness program.
Key Result Responsibilities
Develops, implements, and monitors the performance of short/medium/long term Maintenance strategy and forecasting that link to the core business deliverables, and support Air Arabia Base, Line, Network, and Customer Airlines
Ensures all related activities are in line with the quality standards, operational needs, and in compliance with CAMO (Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization) requirements.
Manages the ad-hoc maintenance requirements efficiently and promptly when needed to reduce AOG and maintain corporate image.
Partners with Stakeholders in Maintenance (Line, Base, Workshops, MCC), Operations and Network Planning, to develop detailed maintenance plans for all aircrafts.
Collaborates with Stakeholders to prepare budget forecasting, manpower allocation, rosters, schedules, identifying number of man-hours, preparation of work packages, tasks, checking cards, deciding on material, tools, progress reports, completion reports, adjustments, etc.
Utilizes available resources, tools and database to plan, execute and achieve at least 98% of available intervals between scheduled events to maximize utilization and control maintenance costs considering operational constraints and manpower availability.
Establishes necessary policies, procedures, work flow charts, checklists and data base to maintain and control an effective system for recording and monitoring the aircraft hours and cycles and to match those to the entries carried on the Aircraft Technical Logs thereby capturing the up-to-date status.

Oversees, maintains and controls the technical library and track of records to ensure all data, documentation, manuals, and certificates are timely and accurately updated, published, distributed and archived both manually and on systems as per agreed standards and procedures.
Maintains a system to prepare and archive all work packages and job cards for the entire fleet and Third Party aircrafts types of routine and non-routine checks.
Ensures the work carried and the associated archiving are done timely and properly and in accordance with designated policies, procedures and regulations.
Partners with support functions to ensure cost-effective utilization of resources, systems and tools.
Provides management reports as needed by the department head to support the functions within his/her areas of responsibility
Coordinates with Stakeholders on planning and executing special engineering projects related to maintenance or other function
Provides necessary professional support and guidance in his/her area of expertise on regular basis.
Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)
Bachelor degree in Aircraft Engineering/Aeronautical/Aerospace/Electro-Mechanical or equivalent Engineering discipline; alternately a higher diploma or certificate in a relating field from a recognized university or engineering college combined with needed experience and exposure.
Project Management certificate or alternately the proven corresponding working experience is essential.
Cost Control, Compliance, Budgeting and Quality Assurance certificates and trainings are an added value and some may be treated as conditional for this role.
Capable of using technology systems, proficient in Microsoft suite, Advanced Excel, Internet and Web.
Excellent in both written and verbal communication skills, Technical reports writings presentations, etc.
Fluent in English Language.
Work Experience
10+ years’ experience in the Aviation industry, 5 of which in aircrafts maintenance planning and technical records control or in a similar capacity, experience with Airbus A320 aircraft is preferred.
Experienced in aircrafts airworthiness programs requirements and regulations, such as CAMO (Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization).
Specialized industry knowledge in aircraft planning systems and techniques and their relation to successful aircraft maintenance program.
Has working experience with Civil Aviation Authorities, preferably DGAC; familiar with all rules and regulations of DGAC, EASA pertaining to the Engineering Maintenance, policies, procedures, manuals and licensing.
Experienced in measuring performance against regulations, contracts and SLAs of extreme technical nature.
Experienced in leading a team of professionals (Engineers and Technicians) in a frequently changing environment with heavy work-load schedules and ad-hoc scenarios.
Very good knowledge and working exposure to Commercial/Quality Assurance /Safety/Internal & External Audit practices.
Experienced in designing, implementing, and monitoring policies, procedures and operating manuals .
High accuracy and attention to both results and details.
