Job Description:
As a Logistics Supervisor at Arrow Electronics, you will be responsible for a team of approximately 25-40 warehouse employees and enable them to perform at their best. Thanks to your good communication and coordination, they will know that they can rely on you to make the logistics process run smoothly together. As a Supervisor, you will keep an overview of the process, ensure a pleasant working climate and that the objectives are achieved. You can think of:
Building and developing your team of operators, troubleshooters and team leads;
Coaching and motivating your team and managing absenteeism;
Continuous coordination with other departments such as customs, transportation, inventory and quality;
Devising and developing improvement proposals in collaboration with the warehouse manager.
A people-oriented manager with experience in managing warehouse teams, preferably in a supply chain or logistics environment. You are proactive, eager to learn and find it interesting to work in an ultramodern warehouse from which high-quality electronic components are sent all over the world. You speak English and Dutch or German. You are willing to work in a 2-shift system and when it is busy, some Saturdays.

Als Supervisor Logistiek bij Arrow Electronics ben je verantwoordelijk voor een team van ongeveer 25-40 warehouse medewerkers en stel je hen in staat optimaal te presteren. Door jouw goede communicatie en coordinatie weten zij dat ze op je kunnen bouwen om samen het logistieke proces goed te laten verlopen. Als Supervisor houd je overzicht over het proces, zorg je voor een prettig werkklimaat en dat de doelstellingen behaald worden. Hierbij kun je denken aan:
het opbouwen en ontwikkelen van je team operators, troubleshooters en teamleads;
het coachen en motiveren van je team en het managen van verzuim;
het continu afstemmen met andere afdelingen zoals customs, transportation, inventory en quality;
het bedenken en uitwerken van verbetervoorstellen in samenwerking met de warehouse manager.
Dit ben jij
Een mensgerichte leidinggevende met ervaring in het aansturen van teams, bij voorkeur in een logistieke- of supply chain omgeving. Je bent proactief, leergierig en vind het interessant om in een hypermodern warehouse te werken van waaruit hoogwaardige elektronische componenten de hele wereld over gestuurd worden. Je spreekt Engels en Nederlands of Duits. Je bent bereid om in een 2-ploegendienst en bij drukte sommige zaterdagen te werken.
