Position overview:


To manage, plan, and control the software development in a project from requirements analysis to software release, act as the software aspects interface to the customer and other project groups


Key Responsibilities:


  • Plan and control the software development tasks of a project
  • Define development and test strategies
  • Report on SW development project status
  • Manage software resources of the project
  • Tailor processes and methods to project needs and control the project
  • Perform estimations for projects (schedule, SW resources, SW Tools, memory, CPU load, ….)
  • Monitor that the defined quality standards are followed in a project
  • Supervise review of SW project work products
  • Act as the communication interface with external SW team groups (customer, HW team, manufacturing, SW suppliers, etc…)
  • Lead & supervise risk management activities
  • Monitor the SW Supplier agreed activities and deliverables
  • Coordinate & supervise Configuration Management activities
  • Support the software quality assurance planning
  • Coordinate & supervise Problem Management activities (tracking, reporting)
  • Assume Change Management Role in case of Change Requests
  • Planning of Software-level safety activities

Key skills and Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within the automotive industry.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and Python.
  • Knowledge of automotive software development tools and environments (e.g., AUTOSAR, MATLAB/Simulink).
  • Experience with embedded systems, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, FlexRay).
  • Strong understanding of ASPICE process models and their application in software development.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Proficiency in both English & French languages, spoken and written
