Job Description

Our client is seeking a Social Media Manager to drive organic social efforts and enhance online presence across various platforms. The ideal candidate will be experienced in social media management, with a focus on community engagement and content creation. This role requires a creative individual who can execute effective social media strategies on platforms such as Meta and TikTok, while ensuring that all content aligns with the brand voice and positioning.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Drive Organic Social: Develop and execute strategies to boost online presence and increase engagement across Meta and TikTok channels, with plans to grow other channels like X, YouTube, etc.


  • Community Engagement: Actively engage with the community, responding to comments and fostering discussions that align with the brand’s mission.


  • Content Creation: Support with creative content development, including video reels (based on provided prompts/brand guidelines and/or scripts), static posts, and social copy (captions) that resonate with the audience.


  • Trend Awareness & Competitive Analysis: Stay up to date on social media trends and insights, as well as competitive analysis, to inform content strategy and execution.


  • Brand Alignment: Create content that reflects the brand voice and positioning, ensuring consistency across all posts.


What Success Looks Like:


  • Increased Engagement: Growth in community interaction metrics, including likes, shares, comments, and overall follower engagement.


  • Consistent Content Output: Timely delivery of high-quality content that aligns with the brand's voice and meets posting schedules.


  • Enhanced Online Presence: A measurable increase in followers and visibility across Meta and TikTok channels.


  • Effective Community Management: Positive feedback from community members regarding engagement efforts and responsiveness.


Qualifications:


  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in social media management with a strong focus on content creation and engagement.


  • Design Proficiency: Proficient in Canva and Figma for graphic design, along with video editing tools like CapCut or Adobe Premiere.


  • Creative Communication: Strong creative writing skills for developing captivating captions, engaging posts, and video scripts.


  • Trend Savvy: Ability to stay updated on the latest trends in social media to enhance content relevance.


Preferred Skills:


  • Camera Presence: Comfortable being on camera for video content, showcasing confidence in client-facing roles.


  • Analytical Skills: Understanding of social media analytics to track performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.


  • Collaborative Spirit: Ability to work collaboratively with other team members to align on content strategy and brand messaging.


  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with Sprout Social or similar social media management tools is highly preferred.
