Senior Process Engineer/Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer/Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will work independently at an advanced level, handling a wide variety of assignments through the application of advanced engineering theories, techniques, and practices. You will be well-versed in relevant regulations, codes, manufacturing standards, and industry-standard practices, ensuring compliance with company standards and work instructions during project execution. You may also provide discipline supervision for projects of varying sizes.

**Key Responsibilities:**

**Business Development Support:**
- Maintain an up-to-date personal profile and resume to assist in business development activities.
- Build positive working relationships with customers, suppliers, and contractors.
- Support proposals by developing execution strategies, estimating costs, writing content, and presenting to customers.
- Lead or contribute to technical proposals, including manhours estimation and staffing plans.
- Participate and present papers at technical symposiums.

**Business Operations:**
- Communicate team resource loading and skill requirements to supervisors.
- Ensure project work coverage during vacations and unplanned absences.
- Mentor, train, and support team members, and assist in the employee performance review process.
- Resolve interdisciplinary, vendor, and customer issues, ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and security requirements.

**Technical Competency:**
- Maintain and continuously improve technical skills.
- Ensure adherence to engineering and design practices, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
- Standardize equipment specifications, drawings, and document templates.
- Perform technical audits or cold eye reviews for ongoing projects.

**Project Execution:**
- Participate in project execution strategy and planning.
- Assist the team in meeting project scope, cost, and time requirements.
- Implement innovative solutions and manage project changes to ensure successful project completion and profitability.
- Monitor and drive discipline quality, recommending improvements as needed.

**Project Deliverables:**
- Prepare engineering studies, analyses, and calculations.
- Create and review documentation, providing recommendations and obtaining customer approvals.
- Develop equipment/material specifications, datasheets, testing requirements, and material requisitions.

**Site Support:**
- Participate in constructability, operability, and maintainability reviews.
- Resolve issues with site personnel and create supporting plans and documents for construction, testing, commissioning, and operations.

**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- 4 to 7 years of experience in process engineering, with specific experience in ammonia, beneficiation, phosphoric acid, sulfuric acid, and fertilizers.
- Proficiency in engineering sizing and calculation, bid management, and project man-hour estimation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of standards, norms, and regulations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
