We are seeking an experienced PHP Developer with a strong background in team-based projects. The role involves agile development, code reviews, and product support within the Paysera ecosystem. Ideal candidates should be proficient in PHP, open to using Symfony, PHPUnit, Docker. Additionally, we are looking for individuals who are proactive in leveraging cutting-edge AI tools to enhance their development workflows and efficiency.
Your key responsibilities:
Work in a multi-functional, self-organising team based on Agile principles.
Participate in the planning, design, implementation, and support of Paysera products.
Follow and contribute to development best practices, give and receive code reviews on a daily basis.
Leverage AI tools like GitHub Copilot, AI-driven IDEs (e.g. Cursor or similar platforms), and code generation tools to optimize and accelerate development tasks.
Actively use AI for code completion, bug fixing, and code refactoring as part of daily tasks to improve productivity and maintain high code quality.
Constantly improve as a developer and a team member, and share knowledge with other team members.
What we're looking for:
2+ years of experience working in a team of developers on complex, sophisticated projects.
5+ years of work experience as a developer.
Good knowledge of PHP or other programming languages (we're still looking for a PHP developer, but it's okay if you're willing to switch from Java, C#, or any other language).
Experience working with Symfony, PHPUnit, Docker (would be an additional advantage as those are some of the technologies we use daily).
Fluency in English.
Proven familiarity and experience with AI tools like GitHub Copilot, AI-driven IDEs, code generation tools, and other AI-assisted development technologies.
Experience in integrating AI tools into development workflows to automate repetitive tasks, enhance code quality, and improve productivity.
