Senior Mechanical Engineer / Specialist

SEGULA TECHNOLOGIES is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer / Specialist to independently perform a variety of assignments through the application of mechanical engineering theories, techniques, and practices. You will utilize relevant regulations, codes, manufacturing standards, and industry-standard practices to control, develop, and apply deliverables in line with established procedures and processes.

**Main Responsibilities:**

**Business Development Support:**
- Maintain an up-to-date personal profile and resume.
- Build positive working relationships with external parties such as customers, suppliers, and contractors.
- Participate in proposal development by creating discipline execution strategies, estimating costs, and writing proposal content.

**Business Operations:**
- Serve as Lead Engineer on one or more projects.
- Ensure project work is covered during vacations and unplanned absences.
- Deliver training and independently develop training content.
- Perform all activities and prepare deliverables in compliance with SEGULA TECHNOLOGIES' internal processes.

**Technical Competency:**
- Adhere to mechanical design codes and standards, regulatory requirements (ASME, ANSI, API, ISO, DIN, CEMA, etc.), and customer specifications.
- Perform equipment sizing calculations and supervise others to ensure compliance.
- Participate in the standardization of equipment specifications, drawings, and document templates.

**Project Execution:**
- Participate in strategy and planning for small and medium EPC & EPCM projects.
- Plan, forecast workflow, and manage the team.
- Understand the project scope, cost, and time requirements, assisting the team in meeting expectations.

**Project Deliverables:**
- Prepare and review mechanical engineering deliverables for medium EPC & EPCM projects.
- Identify technical issues, define alternative solutions, and make recommendations through official project documents.

**Procurement Support:**
- Prepare or supervise the preparation of Mechanical equipment RFQ (Requisition for Quotation) and RFP (Requisition for Purchase) packages.
- Participate in bid evaluations and finalize other certification activities.

**Site Support:**
- Participate in constructability, operability, and maintainability reviews and incorporate requirements into the design.
- Work with site personnel to resolve issues from both office and site.

**Position Requirements:**
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field.
- 4 to 7 years of experience in the design, specification, and selection of mechanical equipment such as pumps, compressors, pressure vessels, conveyors, and other material handling equipment.
- Skills in project management, cost estimation, and work-hour management.
- Ability to solve technical problems and apply SEGULA TECHNOLOGIES' standards, regulations, and processes.

**Required Skills:**
- Advanced level in specifications, datasheets, sizing calculations, and engineering drawings.
- Proficiency in engineering software and computer tools.
- Customer relationship management and business development skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
