Position Summary:
We are looking for an Azure Active & Network Security Consultant with expertise in managing hybrid cloud environments and securing network traffic. This role involves designing and securing cloud networks, implementing security controls, and managing private and public traffic across Azure environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement secure Azure Virtual Networks (VNets), VPNs, and ExpressRoute.
Utilize Azure-native security tools like NSGs, WAF, and Azure Firewall for network protection.
Ensure secure cloud networking through the Hub-and-Spoke and Virtual WAN models.
Conduct security workshops with clients, providing best practices for web application security (OWASP standards, Azure Front Door, Application Gateway).
Perform granular access control through tools like Azure RBAC and Zero Trust security principles.
Monitor private traffic and ensure compliance with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR.
Must-Haves:
4+ years of experience with Azure Active Directory (AAD) and Zero Trust security models.
Experience securing Azure VNets, VPNs, and ExpressRoute.
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor and third-party NVAs (Palo Alto, Fortinet).
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience managing AWS or Google Cloud alongside Azure.
Familiarity with multi-cloud security monitoring tools (Splunk, Datadog).
