KONE Morocco is focused on growing business presence and to complement these growth plans, service business is a strategic priority. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Operations Manager, we seek an energetic and enthusiastic Salesperson – Service Business based in our Rabat, Morocco office. In this role, you will drive the service business by converting leads into customers, improving the efficiency of the sales flow, and driving sales to achieve targets. A Salesperson – Service Business focuses on creating customer trust, value, and loyalty and hence we are looking for somebody with a proven track record of being a go-getter and understands selling at its core. We need someone who can influence, is result-driven, and has strong commercial acumen.

What you will do:
Customer Relationship Management:
- Proactively establish and nurture strong customer relationships within the assigned territory.
- Drive KONE’s market presence by developing business opportunities within the customer base.
- Identify and communicate leads and sales opportunities across the KONE sales team, including cross-selling initiatives.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and collaborating with internal teams to resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate customer records and contact information in the system.
Sales & Business Development:
- Actively seek and generate new business opportunities beyond the existing customer base.
- Manage Requests for Quotations (RFQs) efficiently and professionally.
- Own the sales process, from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring achievement of sales targets and pricing objectives.
- Identify customer needs and align them with KONE’s solutions to deliver value-driven proposals.
- Utilize approved tendering tools for pricing, optimizing offers within authorized discount levels.
- Ensure contract terms align with negotiation outcomes before finalizing agreements.
- Maintain a well-structured sales pipeline, tracking opportunities, activities, and customer engagements.
- Provide timely and accurate updates in the CRM system for effective sales tracking and reporting.
- Gather and analyze market insights, including competitor activities, to inform sales strategies.
- Support the finance team in collections to ensure smooth revenue flow.
- Take full ownership of executing personal sales plans to drive business growth.
Are you the one?
- A degree or higher Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or a Business-Related Course will be advantageous.
- Minimum 2 - 5 years experience in sales/engineering with experience in the Elevator and Escalator industry is a must.
- Demonstrate a level of digital skills competency.
- Excellent communication telephonically and the ability to engage with customers.
- Excellent administration skills and tender document skills would be an advantage.
- Experience in CRM tools i.e., SAP and MS Office are a must.
- Highly motivated, goal-oriented, diligent, organized self-starter with an orientation towards a high level of customer service.
- Ability to interpret and analyze data to draw conclusions and identify patterns.
- Ability to work together as a team and promote a harmonious environment.
- Passion for sales, with a proven track record and a strong customer focus.
- Excellent English communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
