Job Description

Key Responsibilities


  • Assemble & lead matrixed, cross-functional teams comprised of scientists, engineers, operations, quality assurance, etc. responsible for all operational aspects of drug substance manufacturing.
  • Gather required project plan inputs to develop, maintain, & execute cross-functional manufacturing plan for assigned products.
  • Track & hold team accountable for measurable actions.
  • Present project status to management & stakeholders at scheduled management update meetings & client steering meetings.

Qualifications

Education & Experience


Must have a Master's in bio(chemical), engineering, life sciences or other scientific-related disciplines and at least 3 years of experience in positions related to pharmaceutical process development, project management, engineering/process support, manufacturing. Of experience required, must have at least 3 years of experience with:


  1. Working across functional lines and/or with external clients to facilitate the resolution of complex scientific, technical, analytical, and business issues;
  1. Utilizing Pharmaceutical/biologics manufacturing processes, QA, QC and engineering.

In the alternative, AbbVie would accept a Bachelor's in bio(chemical), engineering, life sciences or other scientific-related disciplines and at least 5 years of experience in positions related to pharmaceutical process development, project management, engineering/process support, manufacturing. Must have at least 5 years of experience with:


(i) Working across functional lines and/or with external clients to facilitate the resolution of complex scientific, technical, analytical, and business issues;


(ii) Utilizing Pharmaceutical/biologics manufacturing processes, QA, QC and engineering.


Experience may be gained concurrently. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.



Additional Information

Salary Range: $140,517.75 - $197,000.00 per year.
