Reporting directly to the Delivery and Operations Manager - Morocco, we are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Project Manager based in our Casablanca office. In this role, you will lead the installation team and be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the completion of all projects for KONE while ensuring these projects are on time, on budget, and within scope. The position will also require you to manage specific large projects where you will be accountable for managing the scope, schedule, and budget of the assigned project(s). You will be the interface with all key stakeholders both internally and externally during the project, especially focusing on continuous, proactive collaboration with the customer.

What you will do:



Site Supervision & Project Management
Oversee and ensure the successful delivery of installation projects. Ensure strict compliance with site safety regulations and company standards. Manage environmental aspects of the installation process, including waste disposal, hazardous materials handling, and minimizing travel impact. Monitor and control project financials, ensuring profitability while accounting for factors outside direct control (e.g., factory price changes, and exchange rate fluctuations). Participate in sales-to-installation handovers, validating order terms alongside the sales team. Develop and manage the overall installation schedule and resource planning. Coordinate material and tool deliveries, subcontractor engagements, and procurement of non-KONE factory materials. Ensure site readiness and oversee all necessary preparations. Implement and enforce KONE’s standardized installation methods throughout the project. Maintain strict cost control, aligning budget actions with pre-calculated CM2% to achieve R80 targets. Handle all project administration, including workforce management (attendance, timesheets) and progress reporting (schedule, hours, budget, and risks). Maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure updates are reflected in company management systems (e.g., S-Plan milestones). Collaborate with Accounts Payable and Controlling teams to align site activities with contractual payment terms and received payments. Oversee final equipment testing and ensure a smooth handover to maintenance teams.
Customer & Subcontractor Relationship Management
Drive customer satisfaction and ensure high-quality installations. Oversee subcontractor performance in terms of quality and safety compliance. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding site management and project updates. Identify and capitalize on additional sales opportunities, including add-ons and project variations. Foster strong, professional relationships with subcontractors to ensure smooth collaboration.
People Management & Leadership
Lead, develop, and support site operatives, ensuring their well-being and performance. Set clear objectives, plan and organize tasks, and effectively communicate expectations. Motivate and guide the installation team to achieve operational excellence. Identify training needs and oversee field operative development through structured training plans.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering. 3+ years of experience in PM role Experience in the Elevator and escalator industry or construction Excellent English, Arabic, and French language skills Strong communication skills. Excellent negotiation skills and ability to take initiative. PMP certificate is a plus. Concerning labor regulations, this role is for Moroccan nationals only
