Your Role:
As a Manufacturing Technician you will be part of a global, diverse and collaborative team and contributing on high sophisticated compute and sensing products driving to a safer, greener and more connected future of mobility.
In this role you will play a key role in Aptiv. You will Study the documentation and technical data relating to a specific project and support the product managers in the field.as well as these various accountabilities:
- Ensure the correct assembly and connection sequence.
- Prepare the internal documents necessary for manufacturing the product (visual aids, operating procedures, etc.).
- Organize workstations through optimization of the Work Place organization.
- Prepare and update the Kitting Matrix.
- Prepare the sequences of the assembly kits.
- Assist production teams during start-ups (new teams, new components, engineering change, etc.).
- Create channel documentation (SOS, WAM operating mode, sign off, etc.).
- Ensure start-up with new operators and new teams.
- Time and balance cells and stations.
- Study customer documentation relating to the product.
- Support product managers in their daily work.
- Introduce the content of the documentation into the computer system.
- Solve technical problems in collaboration with product managers.
- Ensuring the revision of BOMs on the GSD and SAP systems.
- Define and validate break kits.
- Analyze changes in plans.
- Prepare the DATA of the wires, component tube from the plans.
- Prepare the launch documentation (technical sheet, AMDCs, etc.).
- Prepare and validate SAMIV and reliability labels.
- Apply the changes in the Lay out.
- Ensure the start-up of MRP, Prototypes, PPAP.
- Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, health and safety standards.
Your Background:
- Bac+2/3 in Industrial Engineering, Methods, automated systems electromechanics or equivalent.
- Freshly graduated or with one year experience in the automotive industry or similar position.
- Good level of communication in English & French
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of electronic systems and machine components
- Knowledge of manufacturing Engineering
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills
- Problem solving techniques
