Hexcel is currently seeking a
Material Planner for our
Casablanca, Morocco location.
The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:
Perform Yearly/ Monthly/Weekly Production Schedules in accordance with supply chain constraints. Daily confirmation of Customers Sales orders placed in the ERP based on all Supply Chain Constraints: Capacity/ Lead time/ Material Availability/ Lead Time..etc Communication with shift leaders the Weekly/ monthly schedule. Ensure proper reporting of the schedule Advance. Coordinate with engineering/ Program Managers the planning for new Projects. Analysis of the capacity Review to prevent any future Shortage. Managing inventory issues, schedule changes, and cancellations. Materials Planning Parameters - Aligns parameters (minimum order quantity, multiple order quantity, lead time, part cost, etc.) to balance the supply and demand plans while stabilizing the supply chain; runs changes to parameter settings in the planning environment and investigate the impact to customer delivery and inventory. Assist when needed Purchase materials, components (consumables) in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets. Assist on the Consumables Reduction cost Activities & ordering. Provide analysis on costs, new and existing and review cost reduction activities.
Qualifications:
Engineering Degree in Supply Chain/Industry or relevant field. Relevant 4 years’ experience in manufacturing environment. Excellent computer skills (MS Office is a must). Relevant experience using ERP (Microsoft AX is a plus). Critical thinking and negotiation skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
