Job Description

APM Terminals plays an important role in enabling the global Maersk Ocean and Logistics network as well as serving other Shipping Lines, Beneficial Cargo Owners, Freight Forwarders, intermodal logistics providers and integrating with a wide variety of local port authorities, customs and government bodies across our global network of transshipment, import and export gateway terminals.
In support of the broader Maersk strategy, we are accelerating the transformation of our business from a portfolio of independently operated terminals into a safer, better, bigger global terminals operator

Key responsibilities:


  • Contribute to overall reliability and production throughput by defining and improving maintenance program
  • Develop multi-year plans including refurb. /Overhauls, asset replacement and redundancies and prepare maintenance budget and resource forecasts
  • Contribute to strategic plans for development of APMT’s terminal assets and identify local opportunities to reduce OPEX and CAPEX costs
  • Enforce standard best practice and full utilization of IFS CMMS system
  • Monitor and advise on the best practice use of IFS for work management, inventory management, work history records and maintenance analytics

We are looking for:


  • Maintenance experience 4+ years in relevant roles
  • Experience and understanding of AM planning metrics, principles, its processes, and requirements
  • Advanced engineering degree
  • Extensive maintenance planning experience based on digital data received from the CMMS and other systems
  • Knowledge in reliability improvement techniques (e.g., FMEA) to transfer improvements to maintenance program
  • Excellent organization skills, especially for planning
  • Practical, planning capabilities, ready to improve and challenge the status quo
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence
