POSITION PURPOSE:


The JAVA Spring Boot Developer role within the AXA GBS Industrial Automation Division is a pivotal position, entrusted to support one of our flagship customers on the French market. The role will join the development team working in a Java 21 environment with Kafka, Docker, JSON, Azure SQL database, CAAS infrastructure, in a squad of 3 developers, on the development of services, API, batches related to OCR use cases that are built for our flagship customer in the French Market and its entities, collaborating with other squads within the tribe. The role will designing, and implementing related solutions with significant responsibility in shaping and transforming AXA's operational efficiency and digital transformation initiatives. The incumbent's deep and broad expertise in JAVA Spring Boot and related technologies is instrumental in driving the technical expertise critical to the success of AXA GBS and it’s partners.


Furthermore, the role involves a high level guidance provided to others. The position requires exceptional problem-solving skills, involving complex analysis, transformation, innovation. The job holds a high level of autonomy and accountability, ultimately influencing strategy and impacting various levels within AXA.



Votre Profil

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


1.Comprehensive Solution Assessment & Support of Product Owners and Business Analysts:


  • Collaborating with the OCR Factory team to analyze business needs and inspect existing code to develop services, APIs, and batches related to OCR use cases.
  • Supporting the Product Owner (PO) and Business Analyst (BA) in writing user stories and following agile rituals to deliver value in a timely manner.

2.End-to-End Development leveraging best practices:


  • Working in a Java 21 environment with technologies such as Kafka, Docker, JSON, Azure SQL database, and CAAS infrastructure.
  • Independently lead the development and implementation of OCR solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance optimisation.
  • Participating in a squad of 3 developers to ensure the successful development and implementation of solutions while collaborating with other squads within the tribe.
  • Bringing your expertise in Java Spring Boot development to the team and contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes and practices.
  • Implementing engineering best practices of the guild to ensure high-quality code and system performance.

3.Documentation & Communication:


·Thoroughly document all complex automation solutions and effectively communicate the technical benefits, progress, and results of automation initiatives to stakeholders at all levels.


4.Critical Thinking and Communication Skills:


·Exceptional logical, analytical thinking, and decisive judgment, with a systematic approach to analysing issues and adept problem-solving skills.


·Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills, facilitating effective interaction and collaboration.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:


1.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.


2.Demonstrated 5-8 years of specialised experience in Java, particularly with Java Spring Boot.


3.Proven experience as a Java developer in an agile environment, with a strong understanding of Java 21, Kafka, Docker, JSON, Azure SQL database, and CAAS infrastructure.


4.Strong technical expertise within an IT programming development environment,


5.Solid knowledge of software engineering best practices and principles, including design patterns, clean code, and test-driven development.


6.Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, supporting the PO/BA in writing user stories, and working in an agile framework.


7.Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to bring expertise and mentorship to the development team.


8.In-depth understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).


9.Spring Professional Certification


10.Fluent French speaking skills are essential
