APM Terminals

APM Terminals plays an important role in enabling the global Maersk Ocean and Logistics network as well as serving other Shipping Lines, Beneficial Cargo Owners, Freight Forwarders, intermodal logistics providers and integrating with a wide variety of local port authorities, customs and government bodies across our global network of transshipment, import and export gateway terminals.
In support of the broader Maersk strategy, we are accelerating the transformation of our business from a portfolio of independently operated terminals into a safer, better, bigger global terminals operator

Key of responsibilities:


  •  Enhances safety awareness at all organizational levels.
  • Set the terminal strategy framework priority
  • Creates, enforces, and oversees safety policies, programs, and procedures to ensure legal compliance and secure operations.
  • Run the Safety induction program and complaints.
  • Conduct regular security drills and exercises.
  • Performs regular inspections to identify health and safety hazards, implementing necessary corrective actions.
  • Ensures that follow-up actions are taken to reduce risks.
  • Prepares and submits reports on safety and security incidents.
  • Supports the investigation of accidents and injuries.
  • Provides materials and evidence for legal proceedings and insurance claims.
  • Ensures emergency response equipment is always ready for use.
  • Maintains and ensures the proper condition of all HSSE equipment and supplies.
  • Supports and participates in internal and external HSSE audits.
  • Contributes to the ongoing improvement of HSSE policies, procedures, and tools.
  • Monitors contractors to ensure compliance with APMTT HSSE standards.
  • We are looking for:

We are looking for :


  • Require a high school diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in HSSE management, ideally within the maritime or logistics sector.
  • Expertise in health, safety, and environmental local and international regulations.
  • In-depth knowledge of the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code is essential.
  • Understanding of the security responsibilities of port facilities under the ISPS Code.
  • Proficiency in using HSSE management software and tools.
  • Capable of conducting trainings.
  • Proficient in English, French and the local language.
