YOUR MISSION


Be a Part Of a Team Where You Will Manage both Finance operations and Treasury


THE JOURNEY


Finance Operations: 


  •  Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, promoting solutions to possible problems detected, and reducing manual tasks
  • Implement new procedures focused on standardization and optimization 
  • Support in the implementation of software solutions for Financial Close as well as Reporting, to execute the self-service vision of the department 
  • Work with a cross-functional team (operations, marketing, finance, procurement, etc.) to ensure a profitable and flawless execution
  • Oversee the issuing of Invoices to partners & couriers 
  • Assist in collecting outstanding debts from partners; prepare and check partner balances
  • Prepare and upload payments for suppliers and partners 
  • Make sure that the company complies with local financial, legal and tax requirements 
  • Be involved in management control: definition of procedures, the design of budget processes 
  • Attention to inquiries and claims from internal and external clients 

Treasury:


  • Identify opportunities and implement treasury-related business process improvements including multi-lateral netting and cash pool structures via in-house banking 
  • Develop and support treasury policies, procedures, and controls
  • Lead the treasury month-end close process including the review and accurate recording of weekly cash activity to the general ledger 
  • Oversee the monthly reconciliation of all company bank accounts
  • Review and approval of payments up to the allocated limit 
  •  Prepare, review,w and maintain SOX compliance within the department; ensure proper controls exist over cash receipts, disbursements and general treasury activities
  • Perform periodic cost review of bank and armored carrier fees 
  • Review and negotiate treasury contracts with banks and armored carriers
  • Maintain strong bank relationships while managing a global banking structure 
  • Leverage existing banking relationships to open, manage, and maintain domestic and foreign bank accounts 
  • Monitor and oversee existing bank account services and signatories including bank account administration for opening, migrating, and closing accounts 
  • Effectively work with and support internal business partners including AR, AP, legal, tax, and IT 
  • Work with internal and external auditors 
  • Assist with the department's budget 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE


  • +5 years of experience in Finance
  • Fluent in French and  English
  • Proven track record, strong business acumen, problem solver, data-driven with an analytical approach, proactive and autonomous, good vibes!
  • An ability to take any problem, deep dive, reveal route cause, draft improvement solutions, and communicate to stakeholders 
  •  An ability to summarize and present complex plans to Management and key stakeholders
  •  Obsessed with continuous improvements, delivering value, and allergic to manual tasks! 
  • G Suite expert (Sheets, Presentations), Office Suite expert (Excel) 
  • VBA/ SQL knowledge is a plus
