QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance, IT, engineering, or computer science; advanced degree helpful
- 7+ years of relevant experience, ideally as a systems analyst
- Deep technical/functional knowledge as relevant (e.g., finance, accounting, audit, cash management, tax), emerging spike in at least one area
- Excellent analytic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong management skills
- Ability to lead multiple projects and work collaboratively in a team environment
- Sound understanding of local tax and compliance of Morocco; ability to interpret, assess impact, and advise leadership in events of change in local policies (tax, regulatory, etc.)
- Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English, French, and Arabic
- Excellent MS Office skills (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access)
- Some SAP knowledge is recommended
WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
You will be part of our Finance team, with majority focus on Casablanca, Morocco. Our Finance team consists of colleagues from different parts of the world and is a part of a larger EEMA (Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa) team.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
In this role, you will provide deep analytical support across a broad range of financial and client service-related areas to offices, practices, or other firm topics.
You will lead smaller projects and initiatives innovating on financial concepts and report design, generating new insights, and simultaneously deepening the expertise related to firm financial concepts and policies. Additionally, you will nurture an increasing network within the financial community.
You will lead projects or internal initiatives regarding financial concepts, reporting developments, and/or skill enhancements leveraging analysts. You will maintain a body of knowledge in area of expertise and assess and communicate impact of changes on practices and policies.
As a part of your role, you will create and enhance complex reporting models that include standard metrics and benchmarks that assist senior leaders in making strategic decisions.
You will present analyses and reports and function as a thought partner to relevant leadership. You will develop strategies to ensure that financial and/or client service information is accurately generated and effectively communicated. You will collaborate with internal clients for process improvements, business case preparation, overall project lifecycle activities, functional specification documents, and testing scenarios. Furthermore, you will present insights of analyses and reports to relevant leadership and act as a thought partner.
You will support professional development for junior colleagues, e.g., via project work or by building functional knowledge of the analyst peer group. Additionally, you will act as a mentor for a number of junior colleagues.
