Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our company’s technical vision and development. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience in the technology field and a proven track record in leading and managing technical teams in dynamic, fast-paced environments. The CTO will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing our technical strategy, optimizing resources, and driving innovation across the company.

  • Technical Strategy Development: Develop and implement the company’s technical strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business goals, while maintaining scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Technical Resource Management: Optimize the company’s technical resources, including staff, software, hardware, and infrastructure, ensuring maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Vendor Selection: Assist in identifying and selecting the most suitable technology providers for the company.
  • Technical Architecture: Define the technical architecture and development solutions to ensure consistency with business needs and industry best practices.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with the Product, Marketing, Sales, and other teams to ensure alignment between the technical strategy and business objectives.
  • Engineering Team Leadership: Recruit, lead, and manage a high-performing technical team, ensuring the delivery of quality solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Product Development Roadmap: Oversee the development roadmap from concept to delivery, ensuring that deadlines and standards are met.
  • Data Management and Analysis: Supervise the company’s data management efforts, including technical data analysis to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Technology Innovation: Collaborate with other executives to identify opportunities for innovation and assess the feasibility and potential impact on the business.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the company adheres to all legal and regulatory requirements, particularly regarding data security and privacy regulations.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Proven experience of 15+ years in a similar leadership role (CTO, VP Engineering, or equivalent) in a fast-paced environment (startup, scale-up, or rapidly growing company).
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and manage high-performing technical teams.
  • Expertise in recruiting and managing technical teams.
  • Proven project management skills, including defining and driving development roadmaps.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure management, data systems, and cybersecurity solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of software architectures and technological innovation.
