Area Sales Manager – Projects

The role requires a deep understanding of the commercial, technical, logistical, financial, and legal aspects involved in delivering comprehensive solutions that combine product, service, and software. The successful candidate will be skilled in leading remote teams, communicating effectively with senior management, and working cross-functionally across the organization. You should have the ability to lead without direct reports, mentor and coach others, and thrive in a matrix organizational structure and multicultural environment.

Role Responsibilities:
As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for building and leading a team focused on maximizing topline revenue and meeting profitability targets (P&L) for an assigned project portfolio. Your key responsibilities will include managing project execution, overseeing both internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with local Hilti rules and guidelines.
In this role, you will work to exceed business targets by partnering with customers to understand their needs and foster long-term, mutually beneficial relationships. You will collaborate with other management teams to capitalize on business opportunities across territories and play a key role in supporting strategic accounts.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Completed Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Civil or Mechanical. 5 to 8 years of relevant sales or direct technical sales experience. Project Management & Team Leader experience. Strong communication skills: fluency in English & French is required, Arabic is a plus. Self-disciplined, proactive, and a quick learner with strong functional expertise. Proficient in MS Office applications. Proven ability to consistently meet performance targets and thrive under pressure. Strong problem-solving skills with an agile, solution-oriented mindset. Solid business acumen and a collaborative team-oriented attitude. Willingness to go the extra mile.
