Warehouse Supervisor

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting the Warehouse Manager in managing the warehouse or distribution center operations to ensure that products are received, stored, and shipped efficiently and effectively. The Warehouse Supervisor will work closely with other departments, such as production, inventory control, and logistics, to ensure that products are delivered to customers on time and in good condition.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the flow of goods through the warehouse to ensure efficient processed orders.
• Track and coordinate the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of products to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Ensure good condition of products and safe packaging to be transported to clients locations.
• Check orders, bills, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy.
• Perform a daily inspection of the warehouse grounds.
• Maintain awareness and knowledge of condition and location of fleet vehicles.
• Maintain documentation and keep accurate records of warehouse activities.
• Evaluate and report on warehouse productivity to identify areas of improvement.
• Oversee warehouse staff, assign workload and measure employee performance on a daily basis.
• Implement operational policies and procedures.
• Ensure at all times a high level of safety in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Communicate and coordinate with other departments.

Preferred Candidate:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations and supervision.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to analyze data and identify trends.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control processes.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
