Job Description

A Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the supply chain process. This includes planning, sourcing, manufacturing, and delivering goods to customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain management principles and possess excellent organizational and analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize the supply chain process and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of goods to customers.
  • Manage inventory levels and implement inventory control measures to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
  • Negotiate and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best quality and pricing for materials and services.
  • Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure adherence to quality standards and delivery schedules.
  • Implement and maintain supply chain management systems and tools to track and manage all aspects of the supply chain process.
  • Coordinate and communicate with internal departments, such as sales, production, and logistics, to ensure seamless flow of materials and information.
  • Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain process and develop contingency plans to minimize disruptions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in supply chain management to drive continuous improvement.

Preferred Candidate:

  • A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain management or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
  • Experience in managing international supply chains is a plus.
