Job Description

The Senior Instrumentation Engineer plays a pivotal role in the oil and gas industry, particularly in Tripoli, Libya. This position requires extensive experience in instrumentation and control systems, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely. The engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining instrumentation systems that monitor and control various processes within the oil and gas sector. This role demands a deep understanding of industry standards and practices, as well as the ability to lead projects and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop instrumentation systems for oil and gas operations.
  2. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of instrumentation equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  3. Collaborate with project teams to integrate instrumentation solutions into existing systems.
  4. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for instrumentation-related issues.
  5. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations regarding instrumentation and safety.
  6. Prepare and review technical documentation, including specifications and reports.
  7. Lead training sessions for junior engineers and technicians on instrumentation best practices.
  8. Monitor project progress and provide updates to management on instrumentation-related milestones.
  9. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance instrumentation reliability and efficiency.
  10. Participate in risk assessments and safety audits related to instrumentation systems.
