Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Production Planner to join our team. As a Production Planner, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining production schedules, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring that production targets are met efficiently and on time.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain production schedules based on customer orders and production capacity.
  • Coordinate with different departments, such as procurement, production, and logistics, to ensure smooth production flow.
  • Monitor inventory levels and work closely with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
  • Analyze production data and identify areas for improvement in terms of productivity and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to review and update production plans based on customer demand and market trends.
  • Identify and resolve any production-related issues or delays to ensure on-time delivery to customers.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all production processes.
  • Provide regular reports on production progress, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and any deviations from the production plan.
  • Participate in production meetings and provide input on production planning and scheduling.

Preferred Candidate:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Production Planner or in a similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with different departments.
  • Proficiency in using production planning software and tools.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in a high-volume production environment.
  • Understanding of safety and quality standards in production processes.
