Job Description
As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the procurement of equipment, materials, and services necessary for the successful execution of our projects. You will ensure that all procurement activities comply with industry standards, company policies, and budgetary requirements while maintaining relationships with key suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage procurement strategies to support project objectives.
- Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships to ensure the best terms.
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and equipment.
- Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to forecast procurement needs and avoid delays.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to optimize cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
- Maintain procurement records and documentation for audit purposes.
- Manage supplier performance and resolve any issues related to deliveries or contract terms.
