Job Description

You will be responsible for developing stronger market positions for Yeast & Baking Ingredients in a rapidly growing market. You will define and execute the commercial strategy, ensuring growth, profitability, and market leadership, while managing key aspects of finance, human resources, and project implementation.


Key Responsibilities


 Sales & Market Development:


  • Commercial Strategy: You define and execute the commercial strategy in alignment with the regional objectives and in close consultation with the Tunisia Team.
  • Sales and Market Share Growth: You drive sales growth and increase the Group's market share by focusing on innovation and profitability.
  • Account executive: Youfind new clients and maintain existing partnerships using effective product knowledge, negotiation skills, and an understanding of a company’s top competitors.
  • Marketing Actions: You work closely with the Marketing department to design and implement promotional and marketing actions tailored to the needs of your market. You ensure these actions are effectively monitored and evaluated for their impact.
  • Market Monitoring: You actively monitor market trends, competitor activities, customer needs and inventory levels. This allows you to propose strategic adjustments and anticipate market shifts, ensuring the Group maintains a competitive edge.
  • Distributor & Customer Management: You manage the network of distributors, ensuring that customer demands are met, sales conditions are optimized, and market expectations are addressed on the ground.
  • Monitoring of customer complaints: Handling and resolving customer complaints regarding a product or service.

Finance:


  • Collections: You ensure secure payment and closely follow up on collections to minimize risk.
  • Profitability: You monitor and enhance the profitability of commercial operations, proposing actions to improve it.
  • Margin Monitoring: You track and optimize the margins generated from sales, ensuring financial targets are met.

Budget Process, KPI’s & Dashboards:


  • Budget: Setting Budget and goals.
  • KPI’s: Directing performance sales.
  • Reporting and Dashboard: Provide weekly and monthly reporting that summarizes the achievements of the period compared to the agreed budgets.

Qualifications

Graduated in Marketing & Sales or Business Administration. Previous experience of at least 10 years in sales in FMCG.


Technical skills: 


  • Self-managing abilities, capacity of setting priorities and organizing tasks are essential
  • Good interpersonal relations, ability for building fruitful relationships with different partners in Libya (distributors, clients)
  • Proven ability to position products and service against competitors
  • Demonstrable experience ahead of sales including Libya import/export techniques, developing client-focused differentiated and achievable solutions
  • Knowledge of the Baking Ingredients Industry will be appreciated
  • Fluent in English and Arabic. French is a plus

  • You have shown your ability to adapt to other cultures
  • Self-motivated, diplomatic, energetic, strong ability to convince
  • Acute sense of confidentiality associated with strong ability to be transparent

Additional Information

Few business trips outside de country (Tunisia, Europe) may be happening.
