Job Description

The Electrical Engineer position in Libya offers a unique opportunity to work within the Business Support Services sector. This role is ideal for seasoned professionals with a robust background in electrical engineering, looking to leverage their expertise in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components, ensuring they meet both client specifications and industry standards. This position requires a blend of technical knowledge, project management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop electrical systems and components for various projects.
  2. Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for electrical installations.
  3. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  4. Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  5. Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on existing electrical systems.
  6. Prepare technical documentation and reports for project stakeholders.
  7. Oversee the installation and commissioning of electrical systems.
  8. Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
  9. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
  10. Participate in project meetings and contribute to strategic planning.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering.
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  4. Proficient in electrical design software and tools.
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  6. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  7. Experience in project management is a plus.
  8. Willingness to travel for project-related activities.
  9. Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
  10. Commitment to continuous professional development.
