Education and Experience:
· Hold a minimum of a Master's degree in Islamic Finance
(Ph.D. is preferred)
· Have a strong academic background with experience in teaching at the university level or relevant professional experience in the business field.
· Where applicable, demonstrate a record of scholarly research, publications, or contributions to the business community.
2. Subject Matter Expertise:
· Possess in-depth knowledge in one or more areas of Finance(specifically Islamic Finance)
· Familiarity with current industry trends, practices, and technological advancements in the field of Finance and Banking
3. Teaching Skills:
· Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively deliver lectures, facilitate discussions, and engage students in learning.
· Ability to develop and deliver curriculum using various teaching methodologies, including case studies, group projects, experiential learning, and innovative instructional technologies.
4. Research and Publications:
· Show evidence of ongoing or potential research activities, including publications in reputable journals, conference presentations, or research projects.
· Willingness to actively contribute to the faculty's research agenda and engage in interdisciplinary collaborations.
5. Interpersonal and Teamwork Skills:
· Possess strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
· Ability to contribute to the positive and inclusive culture of the Faculty of Business and the wider university community.
6. Language Proficiency:
Proficiency in English is required for both teaching and communication purposes.
