Job Description

Warehouse Supervisor



Job Purpose



- Responsible for the supervision and coordination of workers' activities concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping materials and supplies in the warehouse.
- Responsible for planning & managing the logistics center(s) layout considering turnover, size, weight, and related factors of items/products stored.
- Perform duties in accordance with Malia Group Policies and Procedures.

Duties And Responsibilities



On Shipment/Order Management
- Organize and supervise the logistics center(s) daily activities; ensure accurate and on-time receiving and preparation of shipments/orders
On Warehouse & Stock Activities
- Optimize spaces; ensure that the warehouses are well organized at all times and able to cater needed material/products based on operational workload. Provide recommendations/suggestions when needed
- Handle stored goods non-conformities through investigations and suggest needed corrective actions
- Extract and analyze on monthly basis the Near Expiry products report and take needed action(s) with concerned BUM
- Ensure proper maintenance, use, and cleaning of all warehouses materials/equipment
- Coordinate with the sales team(s) and fleet lead team regarding delivery appointments, non-conformities and/or problems related to orders management. Highlight any non-conformity/doubts to the Logistics Manager
On HR
- Contribute proactively with the Talent Acquisition Team in filling vacancies timely. Design/update related JDs and on-boarding programs and ensure their proper understanding & implementation. Ensure an optimized structure in line with business priorities and performance
- Provide direct reports with needed resources/tools and guidance to fulfil their role properly and set their training needs and development plan in coordination with L&DM. Celebrate achievements, highlight people with potential to offer them perspective for growth
- Set direct reports for annual Business Goals and required competencies and conduct quarterly feedback sessions to appraise their performance. Monitor continuously subordinates' productivity and take corrective actions in due time. Issue misconducts and enroll under-performers in related programs
- Promote the Group's culture, encourage loyalty, trust, a healthy working environment and teamwork. Personalize the motivational approach, empower and inspire the team to reach greatness

Bachelor's degree in Transport and Logistics or Business Administration

Up to 2 years of experience in a related field
