Job Description
Job Purpose -Responsible for developing new applications, databases, features and reports.
-Responsible for providing support related to MIS Software and Hardware.
-Responsible for providing support to various ERP modules and processes, including importing sales data and configuring handheld devices for the sales team.
-Perform duties in accordance with Malia Group policies and procedures.
Duties And Responsibilities On New System Requests
- Receive details about new system requests, meet with MIS Manager and senior MIS team members to study all aspects of the new system (feasibility, input, value, easy-to-use, time to implement/test...)
- Design, develop and test the new system according to the Enterprise Application Leader instructions
- Perform amendments as needed and deploy the new system to relevant users
- Train users on the system run-through
- Monitor system implementation to ensure results are satisfactory
On Support
- Configure, prepare, and test various ERP modules.
- Configure, Install or update appropriate software and version on handheld devices
- Provide first level support on ERP and handheld devices and coordinate with users whenever required to fix complex errors and bugs
- Provide training to the End Users about different ERP modules and provide them with FAQ sheet to facilitate its use and enable them tackle minor errors themselves
- Import and upload data from sales interfaces to ERP according to modules at the beginning of each month
- Develop and update reports related to all ERP modules
- Develop programs for all Oracle ERP modules to enhance the interfaces and report all proposed changes
- Monitor the sales interface to ensure data is correctly transferred to ERP in a timely manner and suggest recommendations whenever possible
- Perform preliminary test after upgrading or applying new patches to the software
- Write the “How To” documents & train users on new implementation and operation methods
On System Maintenance & Technical Issues
- Respond and treat requests swiftly and provide daily support to internal users
- Receive maintenance or technical issues requests from users and check its achievability
- Monitor daily the performance of Management Information Systems and ensure its effective operation
- Report any problem affecting the operation of Management Information Systems to the MIS Manager
- Follow up to ensure issues are closed and results are satisfactory
