Job Description

  • Check technical drawings in order to ensure the feasibility of project designs and engineering activities.
  • Prepare and publish the project master schedule in coordation with all involved parties (prinicipal, landlord, local departments, commercial team) setting a hand over date.
  • Manage multiple shop construction projects across a significant geographical spread from the concept phase to completion; monitor major material, orders & deliveries and ensure that projects are delivered on time, cost and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the Group Engineering manager on compiling complete information required for new brands constructions through identifying and recommending project resources for procurement (manpower and materials), provide specifications, perform technical evaluation/assessment of quotes, ensure effective follow up and award contracts to qualified contractors.
  • Liaise and coordinate with contractors in order to ensure that schedules of shop drawings (civil and MEP) and programs of work are properly communicated, operating procedures and standards are adhered to and the work of multiple contractors is properly coordinated.
  • Provide Cost analysis of CAPEX by comparing target to actual with supportive reasons and explanations to upper management. Identify particularity of every project that causes CAPEX to drop or increase.
  • Review and approve Principal Budgets, prepares full project target budget, authorize all project related payments and prepare a fully consolidated project cash flow in collaboration with the finance/accounting department.
  • Document, communicate and monitor the adherence to quality assurance standards, taking corrective action as appropriate.
  • Review drafted lease agreements and advise on technical matters, penalities responsibilities matrix, milestones and fit out period with both Legal and Real Estate Department.
  • Oversee the receipt and storage of materials in order to ensure they are correctly and safely stored and available for issue on site when required; coordinate and schedule with the Project Engineer the furniture installation.
