About the job Senior HR Officer

Our client is a solution provider in the information technology & telecommunication sectors with a focus on the following service areas: IT Infrastructure Solutions, IT Managed Services, Cloud Enablement and Data Centre Infrastructure (including on-premises, public/private/or hybrid), Carrier-grade Telecom Infrastructure, Products and Solutions, Telecom Security, Lawful Intercept, and Fraud Prevention. They operate in UAE, KSA, Pakistan, India, Egypt and South Africa.
Position Title: Senior HR Officer
Summary
We are looking for a Senior HR Officer who is responsible for providing support in the various human resources and functions, which include recruitment, staffing, onboarding, training and development, performance monitoring and employee counseling. The HR Officer will ensure smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions; he/she will also assist in creating policies, processes and documents.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day recruitment activities, including internal and external job posting, headhunting, resume screening, interview scheduling, and candidate interviewsCompile and maintain the candidates database on our internal systemCommunicate regularly and clearly with managers regarding position requirements, sourcing strategies, candidate assessments, interview strategies, and follow-ups etc...Prepare and conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees, and perform check-in meetings with themProcess documentation and prepare reports related to HR/personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc...)Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc...) and take minutes when necessaryDraft and update policies, procedures, and the company handbook to ensure compliance with ISO standardsManage performance reviews and KPIs for the employeesPlan, coordinate, and deliver employee training and development programsAddress employee inquiries regarding employment visas, HR issues, rules, and regulationsMaintain and update digital and electronic employee records, including holiday and sickness leaves, and assist with payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonuses, benefits, leaves, etc.)Assist with the termination process, including preparation of separation paperwork, and conducting exit interviewsOversee HR events and meetings, and coordinate management-employee communicationsSupport internal and external inquiries and requests related to the HR departmentCommunicate with public services when necessaryFoster and maintain a positive company cultureEnsure and maintain the utmost confidentiality for all sensitive HR informationContinuously learn the latest HR best practices to improve workplace efficiency
Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field3-5 years of experience in a similar HR role in the IT industryStrong computer skills in MS Office suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and OutlookBasic knowledge of labor laws preferably in Lebanon, UAE, and AfricaExcellent organizational skills and time management skillsStrong communication skills, both written and verbal, with solid presentation abilitiesTeam player, proactive and positive attitudeFluency in English, French, and Arabic language
