The Research and Data Analyst will be assisting the MEAL department primarily in Research and Monitoring and Evaluation related tasks.

Research



Provide technical support into the research design and tools development. Support the Research and Data analyst to implement research studies according to research plans (data collection, data analysis, dissemination of research findings).

Monitoring and Evaluation



Lead on field level implementation of assessments and evaluations (pilot testing tools, data collection, recruitment and management of casual workers, training on data collection tools, performing spot checks) Ensure projects’ data is collected, documented and handled properly as per WVL data protection standard Perform data analysis and report write up with the support of the Senior MEL Coordinator.

Minimum Requirements:



Master’s Degree in Public Health, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Research Design, Social Science, or any relevant professional qualification. Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in the area of M&E, research, statistics and statistical inference methods, and data analysis and interpretation. Excellent written English, with fluency in speaking Arabic and English. The position requires a minimum of 20% field-based work Ability to attend and participate in capacity building opportunities, trainings and meetings locally and internationally as required by the organization. Willingness and ability to continue to function during a crisis, including during a World Vision response to a manmade or natural disaster.
