Product furniture design

The candidate is required to create technical furniture execution and designs based on conversations with a client or given designs using creative thinking skills. As well as confident communicating regularly with the client in order to assess their needs and be able to adjust a given approach based on feedback. Maintain familiarity with the interior design landscape and trends in order to provide the best ideas for clients. Moreover, the candidate is required to accurately draw furniture designs using AutoCAD and rendering, ensuring correct measurements within the overall design scheme.

Responsibilities

• Accurately draw technical furniture designs using AutoCAD, ensuring correct measurements within the overall design scheme
• Create attractive designs and layouts for various projects
• Communicate effectively with client, vendors and team in order to address client's needs
• Prepare comprehensive presentations, including 3D renderings, 2D drawings, mock-ups, and visualizations, to effectively communicate design concepts and proposals to clients, guiding them through the decision-making process.
• Create quotes for clients and ensure full workflow is followed
• Communicate with factories regarding production details to ensure design specifications are accurately met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Interior Design or related field.
• 2 - 3 years of experience in related field Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office suite
• Strong, creative and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to execute projects from concept to completion, showcasing meticulous attention to detail and a solutions-oriented mindset.
